Hartford, CT (November 1, 2016)- Horton International | North America, a principal partner of Horton Group International Limited, a global boutique retained executive search and advisory firm, announced earlier today that James D. Utterback has joined the company as Managing Director in the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice focusing within the healthcare information technology and services sectors.
Throughout his 30 year career in operating CEO roles, human capital and executive search, Jim has accumulated leadership experience in multiple sectors including: diagnostic imaging, healthcare technology, pharmaceuticals, contract research organizations (CROs), hospitals, medical devices and wearables as well as private equity consulting.

Jim has worked and lived in the United States, EU, Africa and India and has run NYSE-traded as well as startup organizations; he joins Horton International from another executive search firm where he completed numerous executive search assignments including CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs. In addition to his advisory and executive search services, Jim volunteers at a number of charitable healthcare organizations and industry associations (CHIME and DIA) and enjoys travel, reading, golf and time with family.
