Hazem has over 23 years of experience with blue chip regional institutions and extensive relationships with business leaders and C level executives in Saudi Arabia and across the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
He joined the firm in 2014 after having held senior management roles across a wide cross-section of industries including financial services, real estate and oil & gas. His skills include general management, business development, corporate governance, strategy development and execution and leading value creation through operational excellence. Hazem serves on the boards of several prominent, regulated and non-regulated, entities in the region operating across financial services, real estate services, leasing, aviation and education as an Independent Director.
Prior to his current role, Hazem was the CEO of GIB Housing Developers Fund and Head of Asset Management at GIB Capital. He was also the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at MAALEM Holding where, apart from other management responsibilities, he also led the human resource function for the organisation. His other engagements include senior roles at Investcorp and Arcapita.
