Ton van der Weegen

Ton is the Managing Partner at the Dutch office of Horton International, where he focuses on various core activities such as Digital Transformation & IT Technology, Industrial Automation, Industrial Manufacturing & Engineering, Finance and Business Services (legal, finance, iso). He embarked on his career as an executive search consultant in 1997, after spending time in sports and semi-government sectors. Throughout his career, Ton has gained extensive experience in conducting search assignments for a wide range of companies, both nationally and internationally.

He has worked with start-ups, scale-ups, PE-backed ventures, as well as small to mid-sized companies, primarily filling first- and second-line management positions and specialist roles. Ton’s educational background includes a master’s degree in Social Cultural Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Senior Management from the University of Groningen. Additionally, he has enriched his expertise by participating in various training programs focused on Corporate Governance and the acquisition of companies.
